The Inn is perfectly located in the Historic District of Montford, circa 1895. It's an ideal jumping off point for exploring Asheville, as it's located within walking distance, only about a half-mile from downtown, filled with abundant shops, fantastic restaurants, a variety of breweries, and spectacular galleries. Montford offers easy access to The Blue Ridge Parkway and all the main highways. It is only 2.5 miles to The Biltmore Estate entrance and the Biltmore Estate entrance and the Biltmore Village; yet it is surrounded by a lovely residential neighborhood with tennis courts, greenways, and the longest running Shakespeare theatre in North Carolina. From I-240 take the Montford Avenue Exit (west) travel approximately 1/2 mile and the Inn is located on your left on Waneta Street and the Black Walnut is the 1st house on your right. Pull into the entrance and you are in the parking lot of the Inn.
